FAQ About Our Augusta, ME Pediatric Dental Practice

Do you accept insurance?

When you call to schedule your child’s first visit, have your insurance information with you so we can verify coverage. Generally speaking, most preventive and restorative dental procedures are covered by dental insurance. Procedures that are considered cosmetic or elective, like teeth whitening, are not covered.

Do you provide financial assistance if needed?

You are responsible for paying all costs not covered by your insurance plan. We accept payment with Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. We also offer financial assistance through CareCredit®, which has no interest financing and low minimum monthly payments.

What do I need to bring with me for my first appointment?

Before your child’s first visit, please complete a health history form. If you have a written referral from another dentist or a pediatrician, please bring that to your child’s appointment. Bring your insurance card and a list of current medications your child is taking.

Do you offer emergency appointments?

Yes, we do. Please see our Dental Emergencies page for more information. We give immediate attention to emergency situations during office hours; after office hours, call us and follow the instructions provided.

What should I do if I need to cancel my child’s appointment?

We ask to receive at least 48 hours notice for any appointment that needs to be canceled or rescheduled. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancelation fee.
